Nikki Devonée Alston
(M.A., M.Ed., AMFT)
Nikki (she/her) is a relational and sex therapist who holds space at the intersection of healing and liberation — supporting clients in cultivating awareness, critical reflection, and intentional action toward living fully and authentically.
Nikki brings a trauma-informed, collaborative, and culturally-responsive approach to therapy that invites clients to reimagine how they relate to themselves, to others, and to the communities to which they belong. Her work is rooted in care, commitment, trust, and mutual responsibility. Drawing on narrative therapy, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness techniques, she helps clients rewrite their stories, reparent their inner selves, and reconnect with their inherent resilience and creativity.
Healing in Nikki's view, is not only about confronting pain — it is also about cultivating joy, rest, connection, and embodied pleasure. In her work with clients, she explores what it means to feel good in your body, your relationships, and your life as an essential part of the healing journey.
Nikki's sex therapy practice centers pleasure, sensuality, and embodiment as portals to healing. She supports lovers — individually and in partnership — in exploring the intersections of intimacy, identity, power, and desire. Together, they examine how trauma, shame, or social conditioning have shaped their relationship to sex and self, and begin the sacred work of reconnecting to the body as a site of wisdom, joy, and possibility. Nikki believes that emotional, physical, and spiritual pleasure is not indulgent — it is essential.
Nikki is EMDR-trained and currently pursuing certification in sex therapy. Her areas of specialization include:
Complex PTSD (CPTSD)
