“Holding space where your story echoes into belonging.”
At Echo Community Practice, we believe that healing is a human right—not a luxury. Our fee structure is guided by our commitment to accessibility, economic justice, and community care. We strive to make our services financially accessible while sustaining our collective of skilled, justice-oriented therapists.
We recognize that systems of oppression—such as racism, capitalism, ableism, and settler colonialism—create disparities in access to mental health care. Our fee model seeks to interrupt these patterns by offering flexible, relational, and transparent options.
Standard Session Fees Our standard rates reflect the clinical expertise, ongoing training, and lived experience of our team. However, these are not fixed or rigid.
Services,Fees & Accessibility
Clinical Supervision
Echo Community Practice is more than a therapy collective—it is a living, breathing community of practitioners committed to healing through connection, political consciousness, and embodied presence. Our clinical supervision offerings extend this mission to the training and mentorship of associate therapists and LMSWs pursuing licensure and deepening their clinical voice.
50 mins | $100-$150 per hour
These rates are guidelines, not barriers.
Sliding Scale & Equitable Pricing
We offer a needs-based sliding scale for individual, couples, and group therapy. This means that we adjust fees based on your financial circumstances, access to wealth, systemic privilege, and other lived realities. Sliding scale spots are limited and prioritized for:
BIPOC clients
Queer and trans clients
Disabled and chronically ill clients
Immigrant and undocumented clients
Clients experiencing financial hardship, underemployment, or economic instability
Our clinicians use a relational and consent-based process to discuss fees, without shame or gatekeeping. We trust our clients to share what’s possible for them, and we work collaboratively to find a rate that honors both your capacity and our sustainability.
Accessibility Practices
Therapy for Every Budget: Some clinicians offer community-rate sessions ($50–$90), especially for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Openings Prioritized: If we don’t have current sliding scale availability, we’ll add you to our internal waitlist or offer referrals to aligned, affordable providers in our network.
Group Therapy as Accessible Entry Point: We regularly run low-cost therapy and support groups, which offer meaningful connection and growth in community.
Flexible Payment & Rescheduling: Life happens. We honor the ebbs and flows of financial and emotional capacity. Our cancellation and payment policies reflect a balance of accountability and compassion.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Echo Community Practice is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide super-bills (detailed receipts) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
We also understand that dealing with insurance is often inaccessible, retraumatizing, or not an option—especially for undocumented clients, trans clients, and others navigating systems that weren’t built for them. We offer sliding scale precisely because we don’t believe access to care should be determined by insurance status.

Our Commitment to Economic Justice in Mental Health
We know that true accessibility goes beyond offering a discount. It’s about trust, dignity, transparency, and systemic accountability. We regularly revisit our fee policies to ensure they are aligned with our values and in active conversation with our clients’ lived realities.
By choosing therapy at Echo, you’re not only investing in your healing—you’re contributing to a collective model of care that supports community-based therapists, makes space for emergent needs, and works to redistribute access to resources.
