Marcus Brittain Fleming

(LCSW)

Marcus Brittain Fleming, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, relational challenges, and trauma recovery. Trained in both community mental health and private practice settings, Marcus blends clinical expertise with compassionate presence to create collaborative and growth-focused therapeutic and supervisory environments.

Before entering clinical practice, Marcus worked as a New York City public school teacher, community organizer, and dance performer—roles that sharpened his relationship building, conflict navigation, and mentoring skills. These early experiences, combined with his clinical training, inform his commitment to understanding how identity, power, and systemic context shape the therapeutic process

Marcus is also the founder of Bandwidth Care, a tech-focused coaching practice and think tank dedicated to addressing the emotional and relational challenges of 21st-century life. Through Bandwidth Care, he supports clients and organizations with coaching, workshop facilitation, and creative research that explore how digital culture, technology, and social systems shape well-being and connection.

In clinical practice, Marcus draws from evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic relational therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs. He believes that meaningful connection and self-awareness are central to lasting change, and he guides clients toward greater insight, resilience, and authentic living; an approach that also extends to his work as a supervisor.
